Fynd was born at Slängsboda Arabstuteri in Bergshamra, Sweden on April 3, 1985. As a yearling he was exported to the U.S.A. and later on lease to Oddy´s Skyline Arabians in Canada where he was used in their breeding program. He was also standing at stud at Slängsboda Arabians in Kentucky, US. In 1989 Fynd was brought back to Sweden to be chief stallion at Slängsboda Arabian Stud. Fynd is extensively shown in several Western events with very good results up to national level. Fynd was Junior Champion Stallion at Österbybruk in 1986 and Reserve Champion Stallion in Umeå in 1995. When in the Tennessee, U.S.A., he was placed second of ten yearlings only one week after his arrival to the US.

Fynd's sire R.D. Misha was imported in utero to the U.S.A. and raised at Crown Point Arabian Stud. He returned to Blommeröd, Sweden in 1982. 1984 he became Danish Champion stallion and Norwegian Champion Stallion, class winner and gold medal in Sweden. R.D. Misha was sired by Algier and out of the immortal Maritsa. Maritsa who also gave birth to the famous breeding stallions Madar, Pomar and Maligg. Madar and Pomar both being Swedish National Champion Stallions (Pomar twice).

Fynd is out of the beautiful grey Philippa, also one of the most valuable brood matrons at Slängsboda Arabians. Philippa is a champion at halter and has given birth to four other stallions that is used or has been used as breeding stallions. One of them, Falk (by Balon), was exported to Oddy's Skyline Arabians in British Columbia. Philippa is sired by Pohaniec and out of Finisa by Abu Ali.

Fynd's offspring is starting to show their qualities in the halter showring as well as mounted. Amongst his get you find Minna - Class winner in halter and Junior Champion Mare, Rainman - competing in pleasure driving and jumping, Merano - Class winner in halter and an excellent racing horse, Mefynda - Junior Champion Mare in halter, Audi - showing with good results in Western, LLynda - Junior Champion Mare in Canada and British Columbia Futurity Champion in 1991, Reserve Champion Western Pleasure in Washington and Junior Horse Jackpot in Oregon, What A Fynd - Reserve Champion Gelding in Canada and British Columbia Futurity Champion Gelding, showing in Hunter, Country English and Western, winner of "High Point Over All 1992", 1993 US National Top Ten in Bonanza Sweepstakes.

Fynd was to our great grief put to sleep on April 14, 2000. He will always be remembered by the ones who loved him for his big heart, and the ones who saw him performing dazzling spins in the show ring. His heritage will live through the blood of his many beautiful, well performing offspring. My beloved mare Mirva, gave birth to Fynd's last Arabian foal on June 17, 2000, this daughter, Maiyah, will be special in many ways.
