Mirva was X-rayed clear from cysts in back knees.

Unfortunately Mirva was found not in foal this year.

Mirva was shown at the Swedish Nationals this weekend. In pouring rain and slippery grass she was placed third after the lovely Polish mares Euskara and Eina. Mirva got 86,42 points - gold.

The Sportcup (July 22-24) with SM and NM for Arabian horses is over with a lot of work and lessons learned to next year. I have plenty of ideas to make a better show for next year. But the main impression is that everyone had fun despite the dreadful rainy weather and I hope you'll come back so we can make an even better show next year.  Congratulations to all the competitors - you all fought well! It was a pleasure to watch all these horses and their riders having so much fun and performing so well!

I arranged a clinic with Carina Hägglund for show halter training for mainly contenders of the Sportcup. It was a warm and fun day with a happy gang in Vallentuna. It was nice to meet you all and good luck on the Sportcup! Some pictures will be published soon!

Went to Skåne to leave Mirva with Magnus Tingshagen to be matched for the Swedish Nationals. When in Skåne, of course we took the opportunity to watch the Blommeröd International Show. I took lots of pictures which I hope to be able to publish soon.

Mirva was shown at the international C-show in Kumla yesterday. She became class winner with 90,33 points and Reserve Champion Mare! We're so excited!!

Showed at WRN's C-show in Western. Mirva and I was placed 1^st of 5 in Reining. She was having a little too fun in the other events and we placed Western Riding (4 of 4) and Western Horsemanship (6 of 9).. ;o)
Jessica and Mirva (C-show debut for Jessica!) was placed 4 of 4 with a very nice ride.

Had a KM show with Taure Western Riders. Mirva and I became "Klubbmästare" in Western Horsemanship and with Jessica Stridh, who rides Mirva twice a week, Mirva becema "Klubbmästare" in Western Riding and Western Pleasure. We had a great, fun and sunny day - check out results and pictures at the Taure link above.

Maiyah moved to her new owner Elin Möller - Norén. I wish Elin and Maiyah best of luck and I'm certain they'll experience lots of happy days together!

Went to see the Swedish Nationals for Arabian horses at Blommeröd Stud in Höör. A weekend full of lovely horses, lots of sun and meeting nice people. Pictures from the show.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you!

I hope 2004 will be as fun and inspiring as this past year has been.

My favourite Santa, my nephew Kevin, will be on the last picture in the diary for 2003.

Was on a clinic for Anders Josefsson at his farm in Tobo, Strängnäs. Petra and Kalle from Taure was also there. We had a great weekend with lots of good training exercises with the horses and very nice people, good food and wine to spend time with during the evenings. :o)

Work, work, work... Went to New Delhi, India on business. A very beautiful country, with lots of mystery, history, good food and friendly people. Got one day off and took the opportunity to go to Taj Mahal. I'll never forget that amazing, beautiful palace and its history. To learn more about Taj Mahal, click here.

We went to California for our holidays. Of course I fit in some "horsey" activities... I'm lucky to have a boyfriend that thinks horses are quite nice too. :o)

We went for a visit to the legendary stud Varian Arabians in Arroyo Grande, south of San Luis Obispo by the coast. For me it was a dream come true to be able to meet these wonderful horses in real life! I met and got to touch legendary stallions such as Desperado V, Bravado Bey V, *Jullyen El Jamaal, Absolute V and Hucks Premier V. They're all wonderfully friendly and well behaving stallions.

All the staff at the farm was very friendly and informative. We got to se a young mare being trained under saddle and we walked around watching the beautiful mares and adorable youngsters. Thank you Mrs. Varian and staff for letting us visit your farm!

We also went trail riding in the mountains of Burbank, LA area. It was awesome! My quarter horse gelding ,Jet, was new in the "crew" and very sensitive and nice to ride.

A short trip to Istanbul, Turkey took place this month too.. Mysterious, wonderful Istanbul... I hope I'll be back soon!

I had the opportunity to have my breeding Maiyah (Fynd x Mirva by Balon) home for one month. She's 3 years old now and I green broke her and started her under saddle. Everything went on without any problems. She is a most delicate filly, very communicative and sensitive and cool at the same time. She's a pleasure to ride and I'm so greatful to her owner Maria Norrgård - Uhlin that she trusted me to ride her precious Maiyah.

We showed at the Arab SM in Nyköping. We were placed 5th in Reining. Very nicely arranged show by WRÖ.

Showed at Dala Western Games in Ludvika. We got a 2nd place in Western Riding and a 3rd place in Reining. Very nicely arranged show as always by DWR.

I showed Mirva at the B-show for Arabian horses in Kumla. I had halter trained her myself for about one month. I'm very proud of her result! She got a third place after the beautiful champion mares Kastanjett and Bernatka. Mirva got 84 points.
